The Mad Men Have Entered The Metaverse: Havas Group Acquire LAND In The Sandbox
Havas Group, one of the world’s largest global communications groups, has announced that they will be joining the metaverse after acquiring a plot of land in The Sandbox.

During 2021, Havas Group formed Metaverse by Havas, a new consulting creative and media offer, dedicated to helping brands reinvent their branding, storytelling, customer experience, audience targeting and revenue generation to include the metaverse.
Havas Group’s decision to build a Havas Village in The Sandbox will enable the Group to further help brands launch successfully into the new virtual adventure.
Current plans for the company’s first virtual village on the site include gamification with specific and exclusive content, and space for virtual conferences, concerts, product launches and more, according to the company.
Additionally, Havas will also be integrating some recruitment and employee onboarding services within the metaverse.
Yannick Bolloré, Chairman & CEO of Havas Group stated,
“Our new Havas Village will be a ‘meta-flagship’ for the Group, drawing all our engaged communities together in an enriched extension of our bricks-and-mortar Villages.”
