Polygon And Liberty Gaming Guild Partner Up To Lead The GameFi Space Race
With the exponential growth of the Metaverse and the GameFi space along with their duel focus on non-fungible tokens (NFTs), it’s no surprise that nearly every blockchain and distributed ledger tech project are actively engaged in developing and launching their own entries into or versions of the Metaverse. Ethereum scaling solution Polygon has been actively developing and expanding on its GameFi and NFT strategy, creating an extensive range of options for building and connecting blockchains and decentralized applications (dApps) while taking the initiative a step further by establishing Polygon Studios, an independent branch that’s dedicated to blockchain gaming and NFTs.

Liberty Gaming Guild (LGG), a collective of gamer crypto enthusiasts with the goal of being the gateway to liberty, freedom, and the leaders in play-to-earn metaverse success will be assisting the Polygon team with the development of their NFT focused arm. LGG wants to open up the world of NFTs that would otherwise be too costly or even impossible to access for the public at large.
One of LGGs main roles is to provide mentorship for both coaches and gamers while showcasing an avenue to generate earnings from playing games. LGG provides the education, professional training and the regular support required so that its users are able to experience network stability while focusing their attention on developing their play-to-earn careers and daily lives with current investments by LGG ranging from Axie Infinity, The Sandbox, League of Kingdoms, Star Atlas, to Guild of Guardians, and Illuvium.
Liberty will act as a gateway for Polygon to enter the blockchain gaming arena. The platform and its ecosystem are incredibly well-structured, immensely user-friendly, and widely supported by the Polygon SDK along with a well built out and robust framework for building seamless dApps that can easily be integrated.
One of Polygon’s main draws is its ability to turn Ethereum into a full-featured multi-chain system, which is comparable in some ways to Polkadot, Cosmos, and Avalanche yet different in some major ways. Unlike the aforementioned tokens, Polygon provides the advantages of Ethereum’s enterprise-grade security, widely diverse ecosystem, and an environment built without barriers.
Polygon already has a reportedly strong presence in the world of blockchain-powered gaming with over 100,000 native gamers within the ecosystem already. With the launch of Polygon Studios, the team will now have a division that will focus solely on blockchain-powered gaming and NFTs, quickly expanding Polygon’s footprint in the space.
